So yeah, their payment system is a bit weird but you got options. If you are looking for a game with the full experience for free, you wont find any that easily.ĮSO and GW2 are cheaper than WoW and offer more for what you pay for, alternatively GW2 is even more worth the buck than ESO but ESO feels more modern so it is up to you, both games are good for different reasons, GW2 is overall cheaper and Base Game is free, ESO is 10 bucks for base game but the content of the base game is already big enough (base game= original base game+morrowind+summerset currently), ESO to buy the entire collection will cost you over 160bucks while GW2 will cost you equally as much I think if you want to get the dlcs although dlcs, dlcs are not necessary but it depends on what you want to do in the game.įor ESO you can pay for ESO Plus and with around 1 year of subscription you can get everything dlc-related permanently unlocked OR you can use the subscription to do all the content of the dlc since this subscription allows you to play all dlc without buying it plus gives you premium currency for each month which you can do whatever with it OR you can invest it in permanently unlocking the DLC, although by that time you would have already finished with the dlc content I guess, each dlc can be around 15-20 hours of content and costs around 15 bucks if you buy it separately, there are dlc bundles too, there is a total of 20 dlcs currently, some smaller than others. I would say do not play that game if you dont feel like it, mmorpgs are very steep generally speaking, they do not offer any sort of an enjoyable experience for what you will be paying for and for you understandably even 10 bucks are a lot I imagine, so I suggest you either play ESO if you can find it on sale for 10 bucks or try something more on the gray zone such as warhammer return of reckoning.
